Since 2017, OLL’s vision has been to create spaces and opportunities that foster community and involve the whole family. We all agree it is essential that children spend time in nature, but behind every budding environmental steward is an intricate, tightly woven supporting network of family members and friends. This awareness has brought us back to our true mission, which is to support family and community through Nature Club gatherings.
As a result, OLL has decided to focus solely on our community gatherings and discontinue our drop-off programs, beginning this summer. We respect and realize this may come as a shock to some, but we believe when we get to share laughter and witness triumphs together, it makes us stronger and helps us to understand our children, our lives and the learning experiences shared by all. Our biggest mission is to empower you, our OLL community of parents and caregivers. We treasure getting to know the whole family. Every member of this community has so much to contribute to the collective good and OLL is on a quest to facilitate and support that. Our lives, adventures, experiences, all come to life in a whole new way when we’re all together in nature.
We look forward to seeing you at our Nature Clubs and other community-based gatherings. As we move forward with this renewed, family focused vision for our OLL community more gatherings will be planned. Cheers to realizing we can slow down, commune with nature and do it together!
Looking forward to seeing you this April at Amberations for our last Spring Drop-Off Program! Check our website for updates on availability!
With deepest gratitude and respect,
Amanda, Benga, Carrie and Lori
