This is our hands-on, full-body, all-senses-firing nature immersion program for children ages 3 to 6. Our qualified and experienced staff serve as facilitators of the learning process. Children are encouraged to play, experience nature, problem solve and learn freely. We meet at the Amberations Barn, complete with animals, a mud kitchen, a creek and a pond. Participants have the choice to help with morning barn chores or engage in any number of other experiences. Kids must be toilet trained to participate in
OLL  Programs.

Winter 2020

New for the winter of 2019-2020-

OLL has decided to take a hint from Mother Nature: simplify and slow down during the shorter days, colder temperatures and less-than-ideal driving conditions. While we admire everyone’s commitment to “showing up” in all weather, we have decided to listen to what our Mother has to say and take a much needed break.

“Nature’s rhythm... invites us to rest deeply for long stretches. She sweeps the sleep from our eyes with renewed hope and increased energy. There is a time to bloom and burst with inspired action and a time to draw in, reflect and prepare for a truly restful break. A time to allow both body and soul to rest.”

(see whole article here)

So, what will we be doing January, February and March, you ask?

We will relish the warmth of home most mornings, read good books with our kiddos, go to OLL Nature Club, watch some of the amazing documentaries available out there, check out some of OLL's Library Outreach Programs, spend time experimenting in the kitchen with some yummy recipes, take a leap and try out that messy science experiment, play in the snow in our own back yard, go sledding with friends. But above all else, we will take time to just be and rejuvenate our bodies and souls. It's okay to not be on the go all of  the time. In fact, according to nature, it’s as natural as it gets.

We invite you to join us on this quest, and when Spring arrives in all her glory, we all will be rested and ready to embrace her once again.

The best part? It's:
