A Vibrant Learning Environment

Outdoor Life Learners Nature Club offers a space that is free of charge where children and their caretakers can gather each week for outdoor fun and exploration. Kids enjoy free, unstructured play with as little adult intervention as possible. Parents/caretakers and OLL Nature Club coordinators are always present ensuring a safe environment for all. When relevant or appropriate, one of the group coordinators introduces the weekly topic, as outlined in the Exploring Nature with Children Curriculum. Every week, prior to our meeting day, an OLL Nature Club Program Coordinator will post the weekly theme on our Facebook page, for all to start thinking of and perhaps talking about said topic at home.

  • FREE and open to ALL AGES

  • This is NOT a drop-off program. Parents/Caretakers are expected to stay with kids the entire time.

  • Our time together often runs for a good 3-4 hours.

  • We meet on Mondays and/or Thursdays, depending on the week - Check our OLL Calendar and/or our Facebook group page, Outdoor Life Learners - Nature Club for locations and specific details.

    • Our Facebook OLL Nature Club group is private, so please request being added. This allows us to ensure as much privacy as possible.

  • Each participant is responsible for:

    • Securing their own transportation

    • Bringing all necessary gear, food, water, equipment, etc. that they and their family will need

    • Dressing appropriately for the weather - We meet rain, snow, sleet or shine. If below freezing or thundering, we relocate to an area library.

    • Bringing adequate snacks/food to prevent “hanger” issues and to ensure that a good time is had by all.
